Fleet Command: Terms of Service
Effective date: October 20, 2026
These terms cover your use of Fleet Command (the "Bot"), a Discord bot, its website and its optional browser extension Fleet Command Connect, run by the volunteers who operate Fleet Command ("we", "us"). Any Discord server can add the Bot. The Bot helps members plan in-game operations: posting ops, signing up for crew seats, offering ships, and keeping a personal fleet list (which members can sync with their own RSI hangar).
By using the Bot (clicking its buttons, using its menus or forms, or running its commands) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Bot.
1. Who can use it
- You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including Discord's minimum age rules.
- The Bot is meant for members of servers it has been added to. Server admins and op leads decide who can create and manage ops.
2. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use the Bot to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone;
- put offensive, illegal, or someone else's personal information into op titles, descriptions, notes, gamer tags, ship nicknames, or uploaded pictures;
- upload pictures you don't have the right to share;
- try to break, overload, or get around the Bot's permissions (for example, managing ops when you're not a lead);
- use the Bot for anything other than organizing games.
We may remove content, cancel ops, or stop someone from using the Bot if these rules are broken.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you enter (gamer tags, notes, fleet lists, ship pictures). You let us store and show it inside Discord and on the Bot's website so the Bot can do its job, for example showing your name in an op roster or your picture of your ship on an op card. Only upload pictures you took yourself or may share. A server's op leads can remove any member's ship picture. See the Privacy Policy for details.
4. Not affiliated with Star Citizen
The Bot is a fan-made community tool. It is not made, endorsed, or supported by Cloud Imperium Games, Roberts Space Industries, or Discord. Star Citizen and related names are trademarks of their owners. Ship names are used only to identify in-game ships. Syncing with your RSI hangar reads your own account pages, only when you ask; if RSI changes its website, syncing may stop working until the extension is updated. Ship pictures that a server hasn't uploaded itself come from the Star Citizen Wiki or from RSI's own ship pages; who made each one and its license are listed on the Picture credits page.
5. No guarantees
The Bot is free and run by volunteers. It is provided "as is", without any warranty. It may be offline, have bugs, lose data, or change at any time. Reminders and sign-ups may not always work, so don't rely on the Bot for anything important outside the game.
6. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the Bot.
7. Ending use
You can stop using the Bot at any time. A server admin can remove the Bot from a server at any time. We may stop running the Bot at any time.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the Bot after a change means you accept the new terms.
9. Contact
Questions? Message an admin in the Discord server where you use the Bot. They can pass it on to us.
